I've got Nine Inch Nails blaring through the stereo speakers at the moment and my 7 year old and 4 year old are dancing to it. lol Makes me wish I were a kid again.

God I am such a horrible mother. Why? you ask. Well when my son is ready for his morning nap I usually go and lay down with him in our bed. I am so tired and I think it may have something to do with this, but am not sure. I will have to talk to the Dr. about that. My son is sleeping through the night but I am not. Anyway on to why this morning was horrible and why I am a bad mother.
While me and my son were napping, my 4 year old usually stays in her room and plays or watches T.V. I say usually because this morning she didn't and when I woke up the house was a disaster. I know I know, I should have been watching her and I know that if I had been awake none of the things that she did would have never happened.
What did she do? Hah......First the toilet is clogged up. The top off of a bottle of lotion that is pretty big fell down the toilet and has stopped up everything. I stuck my hand down there (yuck, the things mothers do) anyway I had my hand up in there and could not feel a thing so it is stuck in there good and the damn toilet won't flush and the plunger doesn't work. So I went into the kitchen and this decorative piece of wood that is in between the top and bottom cabinets was broke and was lying there on the floor. No biggie I can stick that back, it was loose to begin with.
Then I noticed that one of the chairs had fallen off of the table. I put them up when I mop. So I go over there and that is when I lost it. The leg of this wooden chair had broken the window. Pieces of glass were on the floor. I yelled at her and felt awful about it afterwards because lets face it, I am the adult and should have been awake to make sure this sort of thing would not happen. Now my husband is going to come home to a broken window and a clogged up toilet, he is going to be real happy about that.

She showed up.......her car broke down that is the reason for her being late. I wish I had something interesting to say, but at the moment I don't. I just woke from a nap and my brain is mush at the moment, will be back to normal later on.......

I am sitting here waiting for my daughters H.I.P.P.Y (Home Instruction Program for Preschool Students)instructor. She said she would be here at noon.........or was it two? I was napping when she called and told me when she was going to show. Oh well.

We went to Toys R Us yesterday.........It was crazy I tell ya, just crazy. The parents were worse than the kids. I couldn't even get our buggy through the isles so I just had to sit in one spot while C went to get the gifts. We ended up spending close to $300.00 just at Toys R Us but you know what, I am not complaining because this year we are able to spend some real money on gifts. We are usually starving ( well not really, but just about) around Christmas Time but not this year. It feels good to just throw things into your basket without worrying how much it costs.
I still have no idea what I am going to get Chris. In just the last two weeks he has gotten a Big Screen T.V. and new wireless surround sound speakers. What else could he want??? He doesn't wear ties...........
I have already opened my presents Chris bought me a new coat and a computer chair that is really comfy. I guess I am gonna have to wait till taxes to get that new computer that I have been wanting......
