Okay so this is what is happening with my little man. I feel like I am being given the runaround , anyway they said his echocardiogram came back normal, BUT (don't ya just hate that?) he needs to see a pediatric cardiologist anyway because his blood pressure is elevated and they don't know why. According to my mother in law it might be my breast milk, so it is my fault now. Anyhow we go Monday to Baton Rouge to see the Dr.and naturally we have to travel to another city because there is only one pediatric cardiologist in our town and of course he won't be covered by our insurance. So yeap we still have no idea what is wrong with our son. Well I have to go and get his records to bring with us and go to the store.

God I hope that damn Hurricane doesn't come knocking at our door. I was scared shitless during Hurricane Andrew. I was 17, me and the whole family were huddled in my room while the boards we had on the windows were about to fly off of the windows, to boot we had no electricity for a few days and eating spam is just rank.......

okay, now I am even more nervous and worried than I was before. Yesterday his pediatrcian called and said that the cardiologist maybe saw something (What the hell does that mean anyway?) He either saw something or he didn't. Anyway he has to have more tests done either today or tomorrow. Hopefully today. My mother in law called yesterday and asked me why I didn't ask all these millions of questions, Then she stated "Well I would have asked" I swear I love her to death but sometimes she can be such a nag. My response to her? " Well when you get a call that something could be seriously wrong with your child, you don't think. In that moment all you can think about is your child and wanting to do anything to make him/her feel better." It is not until after I hang up the phone that I think of these questions, uuugghhhh

Heard from the pediatrician Saturday. The X-rays look good but his blood pressure is a little high. So I am still sitting here waiting for the rest of my son's test results. In the meantime all I can do is wonder what it all means...
