Gosh busy weekend, busy busy busy! We are putting ceramic tile in our kitchen and let me tell you , that is not an easy job. Especially for someone who has never done it before. I am also setting up Greymatter and will be switching over to that pretty soon. I really like it, I am just having problems with my templates which should be fixed soon.......Hopefully
Why thank you for the nice compliments Laura! I really like the look of your blog also, very festive! Love the snowflakes too, something I have only seen once and that was 13 years ago!

Hubby is gone for the night. He drove almost 6 hours to go to his company's Christmas Party. I am glad I am not going. I always feel uncomfortable at those type of get togethers. First of all, I don't know anyone and second of all they talk about is work. Which is the oilfield and what the heck do I know about that? Nothing at all. So I usually just sit there looking like a dumb ass, smiling and nodding my head. This year I told him no thanks that I didn't want to go, I will be just fine at home cuddling with the kiddies , drinking hot chocalate and watching Discovery Health channel (yes I am addicted to that channel, What?? It is very interesting)

My cats are crazy. I knew there was going to be trouble once I put up the Christmas Tree. The kitten is fascinated with the glass ornaments........so much so that she has broken just about all of them. Yesterday morning I woke up with a little ornament in my hand. Yes the crazy cat had carried one to the bedroom and placed one in my hand. The older male cat likes to scratch the wrapping paper off of the presents *sigh* When I wake in the morning the evidence of a good time usually lays on the floor, broken ornaments and pieces of paper. I love my cats though even though they are a little nutty.
Today I am wearing shorts. Highs in the 70's, tomorrow will be a different story though. One that I am not looking forward to. I will be wearing jeans and a sweater since the highs will only be in the 40's with windchills in the teens. Brrrrr . I really symapthize with all of you who live up north where it snows and such. I don't think I would ever leave my house if I lived up there. I think it will be a cold winter for us in Louisiana. Last year you could have worn shorts for Christmas, it was so warm. As much as I am not looking forward to real cold weather I will take the cold anyday over the hot Louisiana summers. Not fun.
